The Journey After Life By Cyndi Dale, Jaico Publications, Paperback, INR 299, 313 pages
Writing a book like this is like attempting to contain the cosmos within its two covers. The book, The Journey After Life, discusses the process of dying, and all that lies beyond.
Though Cyndi Dale presents her facts in an unassuming way…she is undoubtedly an extraordinary person. Through this book she tries to dissolve the fear of death by presenting a comforting picture of the afterlife. Something our Masters have always attempted to do.
And Cindy does it by dying in her body while still alive. She traces a plant called the Vine of Death in the woods of Peru, which induces the experience of dying on being consumed in a certain way. Cindy drank this juice 18 times to gain insights into the unknown realms. When she confronted death head-on, she found death to be the kindest, most gentle and loving thing to happen to the dying as well as to the living. It heals and lulls traumatized souls, and opens gateways to higher learning for evolved souls. She comforts the reader by sharing how each human being is blessed with protectors and guides during life on earth as well as afterlife.
Cindy discusses in detail about planes, dimensions, soul travel, types of beings, relative existence of hell, mystical beings like faeries, ghouls, vampires, spirits of the elements, planetary beings, avatars, and the angelic beings.
According to Cindy there are 13 planes of gradual evolution comprising power, knowledge, love, peace and rest, accessible to a soul after passing on, but intelligence lies in accessing those planes while alive on earth. The energies of these planes and that of human beings are in constant interaction. We gain access to these planes by activating our chakras through meditation and other techniques. She says that each chakra of our body is associated with a different plane of light, and possesses a corresponding metal which when spun at zero point, transforms to light. Indian readers are already familiar with these concepts, but reading The Journey After life is like being one with the dying, and getting an experiential account of the process and the journey thereafter.
