Dreams make life livable

Dreams make us live a complete life. In my case,  I was called a daydreamer as, since childhood, it  was my dreams that made me chase everything,  even if many seemed very difficult at the outset.  Though I may not be as inspirational as the  people mentioned in the article Dreamers Make  a Better World, in the November 2023 issue, I  realised that I was on the right track. I enjoyed  this article a great deal and wish to work on all  my dreams as they seem to be signals from my  soul.

I realised that we need to work on our dreams  like the people mentioned in the lead story  Dreamers Make a Better World, in the November  2023 issue. I often give up too soon instead  of trying to overcome challenges to help my  dreams fructify. After all, nothing happens  overnight and challenges only make us stronger.  I shall certainly try harder without expecting  everything to fall into my lap. This article has  taught me something important. Thanks, Life  Positive, for inspiring me, as always.

Internet—boon or bane?

The article The Internet of Things, in the November  issue of Life Positive made me understand that I  should limit or ration the use of the internet for  all in our home as it has taken over many aspects  of our lives. Though useful, it is making us less  productive in many areas and is also detrimental,  especially for the young. Discipline is certainly  required. Thanks for this pertinent article to  guide all of us in this tech-oriented world. The  author has laid out all the steps we could take, and  I certainly would begin immediately.

Everyone is spiritual

The Close Encounter interview, Accountant  Spreads Advaita, in the November 2023 issue, in  which several people seek answers to the eternal  questions on life, living, and death from Shri N  Avinashilingam, was quite interesting. It made  me understand that whatever our profession, we  all are essentially spiritual and can recognise  people on the spiritual path. This is true seeking.  Anyone can guide us if we are looking for the  answers. Seek and you shall find is said by all  spiritual texts in their own way.

Angel for the aged

The article Connectivity till the Last Mile in the  November 2023 issue was very simple, short,  and pertinent, about Benazir Patil discovering  the plight of senior citizens and deciding to take  positive steps towards making a difference in  their lives.

One needs maximum health care above the age  of 60. Many insurance companies charge high  premiums that are not affordable for a normal  retired person, whether you are a pensioner  or even a business owner. Our Government  must consider this issue and make medical aid  affordable for seniors.

There are many old age ashrams all over India,  where life is boring and monotonous; people  there run short of love and togetherness. I hope  Benazir’s NGO, Vriddha Mitra, can do something  for the betterment of their lives.

Really appreciate her convincing her father to  marry again. Wish her all the best.

Abundance and gratitude

We need to know that the more grateful we  are, the more the Universe blesses us. This was  beautifully brought out in the article Rising in  His Love, in the November issue. I loved the  insight of the author who made me recognise  all the things I needed to be grateful for,  beginning with my family, friends, and well

wishers. We often think only about what we do  not have instead of focussing on what we do  have, without doing anything for it. This article  shifted my focus from cribbing about life to  gratitude. Thanks, Life Positive, for sharing this  wonderful article.
