A reluctant farewell

It is sad to know that the October issue will be the last printed issue of LP. Since the birth of LP in 1996 till now, I have been a regular subscriber, and this development is difficult to accept. Web magazines are dominating the market, and they will soon turn print into history. I only wish the best to the entire team for the new beginning. Although what happens in the end lies in the hands of the Great God, I still urge LP to reconsider its decision of doing away with the print copies as they have their own charm as compared to the web version.

The announcement that the print copy of LP would be stopped was quite disturbing. The e-magazine can never match the print copy and is also a strain on the eyes. I request you to resume the print copy from 2022.

Is it true that that LP won’t have printed issues post October? Sorry to say, but I don’t read digital magazines due to eye strain (undergone Lasik surgery), and would any day prefer a printed copy for easy reading. At least it should be made available in print for long-time subscribers.

It comes as a rude shock that the October issue of Life Positive is the last print copy. When I read the October 2021 issue Editspeak, I felt disturbed at the thought that my joy of reading LP in print was going to be short-lived. I feigned ignorance of the language that was spoken to me. Rather, the thought was pushed to the back of my mind wilfully.

Please do consider how many like-minded 57-year-olds and youngsters may feel about this decision. I cannot connect with e-papers or e-books. I have a huge collection of books and copies of every LP edition that are well preserved for reference.

Please do not deprive me of the joy of Life through and in the company  of Life Positive.

Shivi’s gift to the readers
The October 2021 issue of Life Positive has many nice articles in it, but the one which thrilled me was A Gift from an Angel. I have been seeing repeated numbers like 10:10, 12:21, 11:11, 444, 666, and the like, and each time online research told me that the sighting of these numbers meant that angels were around me. However, I have always doubted this explanation.

Reading Shivi Verma’s account, where she is being actually visited by an angel, makes me believe in their existence. Perhaps, they are around, trying to guide me, and I have not been able to understand the signs. Thank you, Shivi Verma, for sharing your experience with the readers.

However, I also felt very sad to know that this wonderful magazine will no longer be available in print form. I cannot bear to see this happen. Please reconsider this decision. There can be no comparison to holding your favourite magazine in your hands.

Hope and encouragement from LP
I refer to the excellent article Of Faith, Hope, and Courage in the September 2021 issue of Life Positive. It was very encouraging to read the way Ms Indira Ahluwalia bravely fought her severe cancer and other problems. Her faith in herself and Waheguruji, and her indomitable courage are exemplary and praiseworthy. We can learn a lot from her.

In the August 2021 issue of Life Positive, we find very interesting and informative articles: Awakening with Aneeshji and Energy Rules the World.

We face many negative situations in life and Life Positive gives us positive and encouraging thoughts and ideas to face them with great positivity and strength.

From life negative to Life Positive

I was really shocked to read the article Opening up to the World by editor Shivi Verma

in the October issue. It was God’s grace that she returned to life, fought against depression, and

could take up the editorship of Life Positive.

I believe that saints like Saibaba work as angels of God and help people. All of us, at some time

or the other, go through periods of depression. Her candid article was very inspiring.
