Reveal A Sacred Manual for Getting Spiritually Naked by Meggan Watterson, Publisher Hay House, Available on pre-order at USD 16.95

Meggan Watterson’s voice is powerful, intense and intent. The power of her voice, the intensity of her messages never relenting. I loved the book so much I felt bereft when it ended. I wanted 200 more pages. I contemplated putting the book under my pillow while I slept at night, just so it would remain close to my mind and my body.

Stories of Ma Kali, Green Tara, Black Madona and Mary of Magdalene intersperse smoothly in Reveal. It is an amalgamated essence of the Divine Feminine; a compilation of sacred texts and spiritual voices of women across the world and across religions. What it is not, is a commentary on society, or a critique of organised religion. It’s a truly searching and fearless spiritual inventory of herself, and its intensity made me not just want to re-live her pilgrimages, but it made me want to be in her very body, crawl inside her mind, and lay down inside her spirit. When I came to my senses enough to realize that could never happen, I just wanted to keep reading, basking in her aura of fearlessness.

Meggan doesn’t condescend, moralize or judge anyone or anything else. She dishes her highly personal story – her emotionally racking search for why she’s on the earth to begin with, and what she has to offer to her fellow earthlings. Her message to me was loud and clear; the opposite of fear isn’t courage, or even faith. It is love. If I don’t want to move beyond the fears that diminish me, I have to exhibit love. It is not a touch-and-feel kind of love, and it is not a neurotic kind of fear. It is much simpler, much clearer; a genuine recognition that everyone who comes in contact with me has their own spirit, their own journey, and it is my duty to honor that in them. And, in so doing, I honor that in me. All of me: every inch of flesh, every glimmer of spirit that ever flickers somewhere within me.

Meggan Watterson has provided the manual for authentic searchers of greater spirit. She gives distinct, divine message to the reader through this book – reveal your truly magnificent, imperfect self and experience that I am.

Reveal is a fruit of her two decades labor through research on finding her self-worth, and that of the sacred body that houses her divine soul.
