Solution for a swollen sac

Solution for a swollen sac

Abhay Kumar Shah guides males on how to alleviate symptoms of a  hydrocele with the help of three mudras

A hydrocele is a swelling in the scrotum that happens when fluid collects in the thin sheath  surrounding the testicle. Adult men can develop a hydrocele due to inflammation or injury  within the scrotum. Inflammation might be caused by an infection in the testicle or of the  coiled tube (epididymis) at the back of each testicle (epididymitis).

Symptoms

Usually, the only indication of a hydrocele is a painless swelling of one or both testicles and might  not need any treatment. Adult males suffering from a hydrocele might experience discomfort be cause of the heaviness of a swollen scrotum. Pain may increase with the size of the inflammation.  Sometimes, the swollen area might be smaller in the morning and larger during the day.

Mudra solution

As first aid for a hydrocele, one should practise the following mudras for at least 10 days.

Jal Shamak Mudra

(for reducing inflammation)

Place the tip of the little finger on the root of

the thumb. Place the thumb on the back of the

little finger. Keep the remaining three fingers

comfortably straight. Place your palms on the

thighs. Practise for 16 minutes, twice or thrice a day.

Praan Mudra

(for reducing infection and inflammation)

Touch the tips of the ring and the little finger to

the tip of the thumb. Keep the remaining two

fingers comfortably straight. Place your palms

on the thighs.

Practise for 16 minutes, twice a day.

Sahaj Shankh Mudra

(for energising the organs in the pubic region)

Clasp and interlock the fingers of both hands.

Press the tips of the fingers on the back of the

opposite palm. Press the palms a little against

each other. Place the thumbs connected to each

other on the side of the index finger. Place your

palms on the lap, between the thighs.

Practise for 16 minutes, twice a day.

If the swelling persists, see your doctor and get examined. There could be complications like an  inguinal hernia or a tumour in the scrotum. Avoid sexual activity while suffering from hydrocele.
