A profusion of love, light and gratitude marked the recently held Global Congress for Spiritual Scientists, says Chitra Jha

The Global Congress for Spiritual Scientists is a unique platform that has been created to bring together New Age spiritual masters and scientists from around the world to share their spiritual perspectives, research work and experiences with participating delegates. 2011 was the fourth year of its inception and GCSS-4, convened from Oct 1 – 4 at Pyramid Valley, Bangalore, under the banner of Indian Federation of Spiritual Scientists, remained true to its vision and mission.

Brahmarshi Patriji, the founder of Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement, guided the audience through the process of Anapanasati meditation, accompanied by his flute and singing, every morning. He spoke about The Three Great Laws in the science of meditation. The first law states that when we are with the normal, natural, easy, tranquil flow of our breath, the mind becomes rather empty. The second law says that when the mind is rather empty, a huge amount of cosmic energy floods into our physical body; and the third law insists that when sufficient amount of cosmic energy enters the physical body, it activates the third eye. We, the participants, experienced the magic woven by these three laws and felt rejuvenated.

Jasmuheen, a renowned master from Australia and the president of GCSS, presented The Pathways of Peace Pragmatics programme; designed to bring peace into our lives and our world. She stressed upon the importance of our ‘willingness’ in creating anything, be it a new world, a piece of art, music or writing. She implored us to remain open first in our imagination, then in our will, and finally in our reality; because our gifts to this world and this realm’s gifts to us can come about in many ways, often when we least expect them, but especially if we are open to give and receive them.

Dr. Susan Shumsky, a Doctor of Divinity from USA, guided the participants through the process of hearing the voice of God and receiving divine love, healing, wisdom and inspiration. Her profound, awe-inspiring, guided meditation opened our hearts, minds and spirit to the riches of inner divine contact.

Dr. Newton Kondaveti and his wife Dr. Lakshmi, both renowned past-life regression and holistic therapists, conducted an experiential session on Future Progression and Present Choices. Dr. Lakshmi guided us into our future lives, helping us receive clear indications of our soul’s journey towards evolution. Deepak Rao, an ESP (extra sensory perception) master and a corporate celebrity, zapped the audience through his ESP show and added some ‘edu-tainment’ value. Erik Bergulund, a Norwegian from Mount Shasta, USA, and a legendary harpist spoke about the Wisdom of Mount Shasta’s mystics. He shared some tools to assist us in sailing through this dimensional shift. Jacqueline Maria Longstaff, a master from Denmark, who has started the Singing Heart ashram near Arunachala, spoke about The Aquarian Bodhisattva that is arising out of a meeting of the East and the West.

Soluntra King, an anchor of Light from USA, created an intense experience of Diamond Light Body Illumination. She helped us open up to our multi-dimensional self and integrate it into our physical body.

The icing on the cake was the Medicine Wheel Ceremony by a native Indian American Shaman master, Blue Thunder and his pretty wife, White Feather. They shared their knowledge about ceremonies and their healing effect on the environment. They used ceremonial songs, dances and prayers to shape-shift the elements.

The other highlight of the congress was the unveiling of a statue of Mahatma Gandhi, sitting in a meditation posture, in the middle of a lake, facing a meditative Buddha’s statue, on the 2nd of Oct.

The congress came to a close amidst great outpouring of love and gratitude. The dates for the 5th GCSS were announced for people to book their dates well in advance. For those interested in GCSS-5, please mark 29-30th Sept and 1-2nd Oct 2012 on your calendar…
