My secret lies in defining the term “success” for myself. For me, it is contentment and gratitude. I know I have been bestowed with much more than I have worked for or even deserved. I recognise this and remain happy and blissful. In my definition, this is success and God has ensured it for me.

Why wait for recognition of your success from others? One can easily recognise that success is what you understand and not what you achieve.
DIWAKAR ADEEB, VIA EMAIL

I am always grateful for whatever happens with me and around me. So instead of blaming and complaining, I always see opportunities, even in failures. Gratitude helps me to connect with the Universal energy, and my journey towards success becomes more enjoyable despite obstacles. By being grateful, I receive grace from God.
USHA THAKORE, MUMBAI

The secret of my success lies in my childhood when my maternal grandfather planted the seeds of truth, non-violence, strong willpower, and compassion in my little heart. His guidance and my experiences helped me to consolidate them and even adverse and challenging situations have not been able to shake me from my path.
KUMUD BOTHRA, NEW DELHI

The secret of my success, as far as I can recollect, is to never give up. Move ahead with continuous effort and with the power of prayer. Sometimes things look very difficult, but after some rest and a prayer, we get recharged and move forward. Then comes the day when we are successful and all the difficulties become our past.
DR SURESH DUGGAL, GERMANY

Of late I have come to realise and accept that once something leaves my hands, it is out of my control. This knowledge helps me come to terms with the outcome of my actions, which might not always fit in with what I expected out of it while I was engaged in it. I thus consider my ventures successful if I can remain unattached and unaffected by the results of my actions.
