The embodiment of greatness
Dear Reader,
Although each and every issue of Life Positive is special and very dedicatedly produced, there are a few issues that take a special place in my heart. The June 2023 issue of Life Positive is one such.
It carries an interview with Sadguru Sri Ramesh Jain, known to his followers as Guruji, and his wife, Kusumji, fondly called Guruma. I was bowled over on reading it when it came to me.
Rarely has a master flowed with such grace and effortlessness as Rameshji and Kusumji while being interviewed by former editor Suma Varughese. What I found remarkable was his attitude as a businessman before he became an enlightened master. The typical stinginess, craftiness, and miserliness that has come to be associated with the business community were completely missing from his working style. Instead of competing with his rivals, he opened the gates of his factory for them, to help them study its internal mechanism. Such was his faith in the abundance of the Universe that he happily gave away his most efficient employees to his competitors when he realised that they were vying for them. And the Universe never let him down. It blessed him with better and bigger things.
The funny thing is that Rameshji didn’t know anything about spirituality at a time when he was acting more spiritually than most spiritual people. It’s not surprising that he and his wife got enlightened faster than anyone else his guru had known when the couple entered the path. His life is a testimony to the fact that the Universe rushes to act in your favour if you stay aligned with the universal laws of oneness and greatness.
Each and every word of this Close Encounter is a sparkling jewel, and I thank Dr Lisa Mishra for suggesting Rameshji’s name and Suma Varughese for taking time out from her busy schedule to interview him and his wife for Life Positive. We are grateful to both of you!
Other fascinating articles include Tending Your Ticker and Boost Your Brainpower, which I am sure the readers would find highly useful and informative.
Do write back to us to tell us how you liked the issue.
Have a happy June.
