THE GAME CHANGERS

Dear Reader,   

The 24th Anniversary issue of Life Positive is on smaller sanghas working to make a difference to this world. The idea was lobbed at me by former editor-in-chief Suma Varughese during a conversation, and I grabbed it with both hands. I had been wracking my brains, trying to think of an exciting idea for the LP annual, and it was virtually dropped into my lap by the Universe. Human connections, when nurtured with respect and care, have a way of delivering to you what you desire at the most unexpected hour.

As we worked on the topic and connected with groups, sanghas, and institutions working to uplift human consciousness, an entire new world of wonder and possibilities opened up before us. These stories were stories of faith, miracles, conviction, and a compelling need of the founder to follow their heart against all odds and counter-advice. Even though each story is different from the other, the underlying theme of unconditional love for humanity is undeniably present in each one of them. They make you think about the power of faith and conviction in your inner voice.

When these communities had started, the founders had no trail or path before them. They were stuck like others in their life paths, but, instead of giving up, they dug deep within themselves and found insights and solutions, which others had not bothered to find. Armed with tools, techniques, and empathy, they set out to free others from the suffering they had once gone through.

They gave an opportunity to other like-minded people to find their community, calling, and purpose in life. They formed a sangha, a haven for people to fearlessly express themselves and find lost parts of their soul. While some have a passion for health, social service, or environment, others fervently nurture spiritual awakening. But together, they create a collective energy of positive changes heralding a new beginning on Planet Earth. Join them or get inspired to start your own community if you have something brewing in your mind. There is no stopping you!
