The wheel of life
Dear Reader,
With this issue, we come to the end of Year 2022.
The coronavirus is no more as pernicious as it used to be and seems to be waning as of now. Let’s hope that its departure is permanent. However, it did bring about copious amounts of desirable changes in people in its wake. Issues like mental health, soul-calling, relationships, and spirituality have become mainstream thanks to the crisis and the subsequent introspection facilitated by it. It is much easier now to bring people to spirituality and talk about inner work and meditation than before. They seem more than willing to grab such offers regardless of their background, preferences, and leanings.
Externally, however, we see economic and food crises, natural disasters, international conflicts, rebellion, wars, communal tension, and social discord reach a nasty level worldwide. As we try to balance our inner world, it is not surprising that negativity will try to push back harder. This is not the time to despair but to redouble our efforts towards believing in and working towards positivity in all spheres of life. Goodness, even though works calmly and noiselessly, has the power to stealthily upstage the machinations of malevolent forces, catching them off guard.
In effect, the global turmoil is happening so that a fair and lasting resolution to long-held angst and conflict can be found. Divine timing is at play, and it’s best to choose the right and virtuous side in this battle between good and evil. Therefore, instead of getting rattled by disturbing incidents, it is in our interest to work towards establishing inner and outer peace. Our prayers, positive attitude, and optimism have an inconspicuous but tangible power of changing the world. For every change begins with us.
