Tools for psychic protection

Psychic protection is as natural as putting on work clothes in the morning, checking mobile battery, and money for the day before leaving the house. If you prepare in advance you arrive unhurried and do not leave yourself vulnerable, accident-prone or panicking if there are delays or problems in your journey. It is the same with psychic self-defense.

Self-defense is of utmost priority for everyone in today’s hectic time. And when this defence is against negative energies it becomes even more important. It is very easy for people to get off balance and think that they are controlled by outside negativity or are under ‘psychic attacks’. For instance, an angry person creates a lot of negative energy. And if the anger is directed at you, you become a victim of his negativity. Sometimes, when more than one person thinks negatively of you and you are physically close to them it might negatively affect your aura. This might be even more of a problem for substance abusers. The impact of this energy varies from people to people depending on their emotional strength.

It is believed that if you could keep yourself in a state of high vibration, like being happy all the time you wouldn’t attract negativity. This ‘high vibration’ is just a part of psychic protection. Also, there are a few psychic defence techniques which you can exercise to protect your psychic self.

Physical body positions

Crossing your arms and legs can be very protective. These body positions cordon off the human energy circuits and also protect various chakra (energy) points depending on where the arms are crossed. The next time you are around someone who seems to be sucking your energy or spewing negativity, sit down calmly, cross your arms and legs, and listen.

Prayer and affirmations

There are numerous methods of psychic protection depending upon what you are likely to encounter. The basic methods are the grounding techniques which includes growing your energy roots by wearing or carrying grounding stones, and doing meditations. Prayer and affirmations also help to build positive energy, amplify other protections, and add layers of defence to the human energy system. Any prayer which is said immediately after following one of these methods will act to strengthen it. Affirmations such as “I allow only love around me,” “People adore me,” and “My vibration is stronger and faster each day” can improve your energy and defence techniques. When writing an affirmation, always make it in present tense, and in first person, and do not include negative words like not, don’t, won’t, and can’t, in it.

Invoking or asking angels for help also falls in this category. A common conception of the angelic realm is that angels can’t intervene or help humans unless a human has asked and given them permission to do so. With the exception of a person’s life being in danger. Then rules can be broken. Always be willing to ask for extra help if you need it. Your angels, guides, and the powers to be will always respond and help out.
