March 2023

Dear Reader,

Stillness and silence go hand in hand in spiritual pursuits. Without  them, it’s impossible to plumb the depths of one’s being and extract  the jewel of the true Self.

Some are easily disposed to sitting quietly, while others struggle  to be still. However, the trick is to not force yourself to go against  your grain but to make any activity you like meditative by plunging  fully and wholeheartedly into it. This can extend to an activity like  running too. Runners, by hobby and passion, discover plenty of  benefits of running. Not only does it benefit your health and mood,  but it can also positively shift your level of consciousness if done  consciously.

The lead story, Run For Your Life, written by Rishi Rathod, looks  at the sport of running from a spiritual and self-growth angle and  shares some genuine pearls of wisdom and revelations.

Mental ailments are an enigma for most people. While those who  suffer from it go through a great deal of anguish and agony, others  not afflicted by it struggle to understand their ordeal and empathise  with them.

Consequently, instead of getting support and compassion, the  patients end up getting judged, treated harshly, or side-lined. This  is excruciating for them and pushes them further up the alley of  loneliness and despair.

The article Bipolar Disorder—The Inner Story sketches the inner  landscape of the patients of bipolar disorder and creates deep  understanding and empathy for them. I hope this article series will  help both the sufferers and the people around them get a better grasp  of what they are faced with.

The article Recipe For The Right Partner will help confused youngsters  on what criteria to look for when trying to settle down with a good  life partner.

Hoping that the March issue gives you not only new ideas  to chew over but also solutions to critical questions of life.

Happy Holi!
