The magnificent Life Positive Expo took place once again in the capital on February 15 to 17, with a powerful blend of workshops, spiritual discourses and a spiritual bazaar say Punya Srivastava and Jamuna Rangachari

Sure as the promise of spring, comes the three-day Life Positive Expo in New Delhi, adding even more festivity to a season of flowers, bird song and cool scented breeze. For the over 100 delegates who flocked to India Habitat Center on February 15 to 17, the Delhi Expo has become nothing less than an annual pilgrimage, a source to renew one’s spirit, restore one’s soul, let go of outdated and toxic baggage, bond with kindred spirits and gather enough spiritual capital to get them through the year. No matter how far and wide the Expo travels, the delegates agreed that the Delhi Expo remains Numero Uno.
“It feels so good to say that workshops conducted by Life Positive group on all the three days were great. I am really feeling energetic and motivated after participating in these workshops,” shared Dr. Shubha Maheshwari, Professor, Amity University.
Mr Tarun Sahgal, added, “I must appreciate your initiatives for the welfare of society. It’s commendable how your organisation comes forward and thinks beyond individual perspective, to bring peace and knowledge to others. I am glad to meet such beautiful and wonderful people through your Expo.”
Ajay Pratap Singh from Delhi enthused, “I loved everything about all the workshops I attended. I am really grateful to Life Positive for providing us with a platform where I get a chance to meet wonderful people from all across the world. I wish the organisation flourishes and continues its effort towards spiritual enhancement of society.” The motivation for all that we do at Life Positive remains your growth and well-being, and feedback such as this confirms that our efforts are bearing fruit, giving us the impetus to continue to connect masters and facilitators to seekers in a non-sectarian environment, full of verve and positivity.
Day 1
Inaugural note by Sister BK Shivani

There could be no better way to flag off the Expo than by an address from the sublime and serene Sister BK Shivani. Dressed in an impeccable white sari, Sister Shivani radiated warmth and joy, combined with deep peace.
Speaking on the subject of The Call of the Times, Sr Shivani pointed out that the shift to the New Age must begin with us. “Nothing but a conscious change in the way of our thinking will bring the shift,” she explained. “To shift from the old way of thinking to a new way of thinking marks the advent of the New Age. One needs to shift consciously from expectations to acceptance.” Speaking about the Delhi gang rape case of December 2012, Shivani explained how anger and hatred had increased manifold, because millions experienced these emotions during that period. “We generate negative karma ourselves by reacting to the karmic accounts of other people. We should forgive the culprits because they have earned severe karma through that one act. Their punishment was decided the very moment they committed the crime. For a shift to happen, we need to bring a change in our prevalent samskaras over time. Apart from knowledge, it is love, compassion, acceptance which helps bring a change in our samskaras,” she concluded.
Heal your life with Patricia Crane and Rick Nichols

Patricia Crane was privileged to learn the Heal Your Life workshop personally with the great Louise Hay in the 1980s. Louise Hay is founder of the course and aothor of the book by the same name.
Patricia and Rick connected to everyone beautifully sharing how they had been transformed through loving themselves and helped everyone to do the same themselves. Mr. R K Dham from Bangalore said he had never been able to forgive his erstwhile business partner for cheating him. The workshop enabled him to love and then forgive his partner’s behavior and made him truly free and alive. The workshop ended on a high note of positivity and love.
Past-life Regression by Dr. Newton and Dr. Lakshmi Kondaveti

The ever popular duo, a staple at the Delhi Expo, attracted many participants to their PLR workshop. The session started with an introduction to the seven sutras of life as well as the seven koshas (bodies) the soul wears during its journey through the human world. “You are an eternal, immortal soul. You are not the body; you have the body. You are not the thoughts; you have the thoughts. You are not the emotions; you have the emotions,” the couple echoed as participants prepared to experience the journey towards their past lives. The first pit stop was a childhood regression where delegates revisited many beautiful as well as painful memories of that period and tried to heal what had gone wrong then. The final session was the past-life regression where many people experienced flashes, some clear and some hazy, of their past lives.
Day 2
Relationships by Jacqueline Maria Longstaff

Most people find relationships a challenging area and Jacqueline explained that while we need relationships, we also feel trapped by them. This is one of the central paradoxes of the human condition. “Instead of being bogged down by them, make them the very ladder to awakening,” she said and asked people to apply the same principles of oneness in all relationships, be it with one’s relations, friends or colleagues.
A participant, Rashida from Pakistan, mentioned she had come to the Life Positive Expo precisely to foster a better relationship with India. The Expo had shown her a spiritually vibrant India, and she hoped that the magazine and Expo would have a presence in Pakistan, too. At the end of the day, participants felt better able to handle their relationship challenges.
Forgiveness by GL Sampoorna

“To live, we have to die,” stated GL Sampoorna succinctly, in her workshop on forgiveness, implying the need to let go of past baggage in order to live fully.
Sampoorna taught various tools for forgiveness such as the law of projection, finding positive intention in every situation and dealing with it, differentiating between pseudo and real forgiveness, talking to your body, and the ho-opono-pono prayer of gratitude. ‘Switch your thoughts to affirmations and see the magic. ‘I forgive and I am free’ works wonders,” Sampoorna explained. Participants also learnt simple exercises like making guttural noises and letting out in gibberish to heal their anger.
Gargi, a regular in Sampoorna’s workshops, shared how forgiving her husband completely helped her get over a broken marriage and face him without unease. The joyous session was punctuated with songs and dances.
Day 3
Acupressure by Ketan Shah
![]() |
When Ketan Shah healed himself of a botched-up appendicitis operation through acupressure, it marked the birth of a master acupressure practitioner. Today, he heals people from all over the world suffering from Parkinsons, diabetes, paralysis, kidney failure and even cancer. His book, Acupressure for Total Wellness, published by Life Positive Publications is a mega best-seller. At his enthralling workshop, he combined teaching acupressure points for a variety of ailments and other wellness techniques with instant healing. Kavita Raj from Delhi came limping to the Expo. One session with Ketan Shah during the workshop and to everyone’s astonishment, Kavita was walking unaided.
ThetaHealing by Renu Agarwal
![]() |
The third and the last day of the Expo was spent in sending unconditional love to the world via Renu Agarwal’s workshop on ThetaHealing. It is a meditational process that co-creates physical, psychological and spiritual healing with focused prayer through the Creator. The whole session revolved around reaching the Theta state, sending healing to self and unconditional love to the world, and manifesting. “We should not plead but demand from the Creator because we are part of Him; we are one with the Supreme Being,” stated Renu Agarwal.
Participants were asked to inhale God’s light and exhale all pain and sorrow, filling the void with unconditional love. The process revolved around being in a meditative state, gaining energy from earth, travelling through all the chakras into the celestial system, reaching the divine white light and being one with the Creator.
The finale with Brahamarshi Subhash Patri
The three-day sojourn concluded on a beautiful ending note by the multi-talented Brahamarshi Subhash Patri. The founder of Pyramid Meditation Society talked about meditation and holistic living, interspersed with a melodious flute recital. “We have to learn from each and everyone around us, from spiritual masters as well as from ourselves. We need to manage our lives through meditation,” were his words of wisdom.
Talking about holistic living, he explained, “We need to nourish our body, mind and intelligence. Eat good food for a sound body, listen to good music or engage in any kind of art to calm your mind. Similarly, reading good books by masters nourishes your intelligence and when all these aspects of your lives are healthy and sound, you achieve a meditative state for your soul.” He added, “ The nourishing of the soul can be done by the person himself. And if all the great sages and masters can do that, so can anyone,” he concluded.
At the end of the last day, the only thing everyone asked was about when there would be another Expo and when they would meet each other and the Life Positive team again.
