The exhibition zone of the Life Positive Expo, 2010, at India Habitat Centre in Delhi had many stalls offering an array of holistic healing techniques, alternative therapies and other well-being aids to the visitors
From Unani medication to theta healing, from crystal therapy to aura reading, from breathing in the right manner to reaching your subconscious through hypnosis – all conceivable alternative medications and therapies were available at the exhibition zone of the LP Expo 2010. The scores of medications and therapies offered in the 34 stalls of the exhibition not only treated physical ailments but mental and emotional disturbances as well.
Rachna Mehra, who is a certified theta healer with over 10 years experience, said that theta healing is a powerful tool that helps people change their negative behaviour patterns by making them aware of the memories planted in their subconscious minds. “Every sickness comes with negative emotions, especially when people feel they are not being loved.
The stall of Tejgyan Foundation, buzzed with numerous people, who were enthusiastically browsing through the books, penned by the founder of the foundation, Sirshree. The spiritual organisation with the ISO 9001:2000 certification has attracted thousands of followers by its simple and yet profound philosophy.
The California Hypnosis Institute of Delhi, set up by Dr Sunil Prakash and Ritu Singh had many visitors asking about their mode of healing. The duo are experts in hypnotherapy, past-life regression therapy, hypnobirthing and aura imaging.
The stall of South Delhi Polytechnic for Women, offered free BP check-ups and other information about health and the courses they offer to the visitors. The institute founded in 1963, offers many career-oriented courses for self-growth and development to women, including alternative therapies like acupressure and reflexology.
Sachin Bansal, who had put his stall, Divine Visions, at the exhibition, turned out to be a clairvoyant of a different kind. He said God has given him the rare talent to see energy fields in human beings in the form of colours, since he was 15 years old. If the colour pink is dominant in the aura of a person it signifies that he possesses energies of love while if blue is dominant it represents a good sense of logic.
Radhika Kawlra Singh, an expert hypnotist, hypnotised several participants to explore their subconscious thoughts. Her confident tone, appropriate selection of words, and demeanour quickly put people under hypnosis and helped them to explore their deep-seated thought patterns.
Elaborating on her unique ‘Money Mantra’ that helped people attract money, Sangeeta Gupta, a reiki practitioner, said that she helps people to think on the lines that are conducive for attracting prosperity.
Darohar – The Heritage looked alluring with its myriad feng shui products, Buddha statues and other sacred curios. Most people were attracted to the instant hawan, a miniature structure in which one could do a hawan. Navin Chittoria, the man behind the organisation, is an ardent supporter of Indian art and culture.
Divine Energies stall with aura scanning by Divya Sharma had people making a beeline to get their auras checked. Her machines were able to predict how one has fared in life and what one’s spiritual, mental, and emotional vibrational frequencies are.
The wide range of books on spirituality at the Full Circlestall was a big draw for seekers. The publishing house has published some of the finest books on body, mind, and spirit by well-known writers.
Prof. Balachandran and his team of teachers were teaching SKY yoga to eager visitors, a technique founded by their guru Vethathri Maharshi. Their yoga attempts to bring about a total transformation of the individual through path-breaking and yet extremely simple techniques.
At Noni Bio Tech, eager visitors were sampling the health enhancing liquid, ‘Indian Divine Noni Gold’ made from the fruit Morinda Citrifolia combined with other powerful Indian herbs.
A diverse range of health products enthused the participants at Swiss Kalpvriksh Education Pvt Ltd. At the stall, people were also briefed about the various activities that the organisation has undertaken in the field of education, health, tourism, veterinary services, agriculture, and environment friendly centres.
Jainism-Terapanthi had a wide range of literature on Jainism. Visitors were introduced to Preksha Meditation, a unique meditation technique, which is taught free of cost at Adhyatam Sadhna Kendra, near Chattarpur Mandir in Delhi.
Neesha Thakkar at her stall, Playing Card Prediction ‘n’ Crystal Therapy, successfully predicted the future of curious visitors. Ms Thakkar has over 12 years experience in the field of crystal therapy and card prediction.
The stall by Department of Ayush, Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had several practitioners of alternative therapies giving free consultancy to the people. Dr Seema Rehana of Unani medicine explained that their system of medication dates back to 350 BC, started by Hippocrates. “There are time-tested cures available in Unani for these diseases,” she said.
At Heritage, one could find a wide range of books and CDs on Osho, who is deservedly considered to be one of the most penetrating thinkers. Even after his death, his books have provided inspiration and illumination to millions across the globe. Shahnaz Ayurvedics offered many herbal products and courses in health care at the stall. Though at a price, it attracted many women who knew that they would be assured quality and a genuine herbal approach.
Media Partners of the Expo-2010, Hindustan Times, and Punjab Kesri also had a stall. While Hindustan Times is the largest selling English daily of the country, Punjab Kesri has the distinction of being the largest selling daily in Hindi.
At Shwaspathy, people learnt how to breathe in the right manner in order to bring health and positivity in their life. Prof Krishnansh Aggarwal, who founded Shwaspathy, explained that the right way of breathing acts like a health supplement and helps one to live a disease-free life.
At Auralite, there were several varieties of camphor, incense sticks, and sandals, eagerly picked up by enthusiastic shoppers wishing to bring an aura of positivity at their workplace and homes.
People also made a beeline to Star Health & Allied Insurance Co Ltd stall for insurance-related information. One of the lead players in the insurance industry, Star Health is the main sponsor of the Life Positive Expo for the second year in succession.
The energy bar and other organic food products at Nourish Organic Foods Pvt. Ltd were a huge hit with the visitors. The taste was truly delicious. Apart from tasty treats, there were several other organic food products on display.
Sunita Chiller, a feng shui and Vaastu consultant, had people thronging at her stall to seek her opinion about the designing of their dwelling and working places. The placement of furniture and the directions for the correct location of doors and windows, were avidly debated.
At Divyatatva- The Divine Essence, angel therapy and card reading was carried out by Smriti Manchanda. Visitors were taught how they could heal themselves and others with the help of angels, how they could receive angel messages and guidance for all, with the help of meditation techniques, and other tools like autowriting, channelling, and angel oracle cards.
At Laa Spirit, Ms Kalra elaborated on the rare medicinal properties of oil, exported from Germany that could cure various diseases.
At ACEM Meditation stall, subtle ways of meditation that freed one’s mind were described. The positive results that follow depend on the quality and length of the meditator’s practice.
Different types of holistic healing were discussed at Soham, The Clinic for Holistic Medicare and Cure by Dr Ravi Tulli. He is recognised to be a pioneer of holistic medicine. His treatment offers relief and cure from pain, paralysis, allergies, asthma, and other chronic diseases.
A whole new range of benefits of theta healing were described about at India International Healing Institute. The expert trainers were also proficient in hypnotherapy, past-life regression therapy, crystal healing, reiki, yoga, and pranic healing.
