How often do you find being stuck in a situation from the past; thinking over that one thing (mostly hurtful) someone said to you or a thing that you wanted to own but you couldn’t. Most of our conscious waking hours are generally spent ruminating over the unhappy part from the past. Apparently lot of energy gets consumed or rather wasted while doing this. I would prefer calling this state of mind as “mental constipation.” While at physiological level, constipation is perceived to be a serious issue; no one wants to treasure their bodily wastes for lifetime, then why not flush out unwanted garbage from your mind as well which is not serving any purpose for living a healthy life. If there are lessons to be learnt from past incidents (as it is commonly believed), absorb the learning and take back your energies from that event/person/commodity. Although this isn’t as easy as it would sound. When you start consciously working on this, the skill of “letting go” will gradually develop. It is only then you will have abundant space, time and energy for yourself..eventually, accurate processing of the Uurja within.
