A healthy mix of articles
Dear Reader,
The March 2022 issue of Life Positive carries many fascinating and thought-provoking articles. However, the one dealing with turbulent emotions, Say Hello to Your Hard Feelings, deserves special mention. Written by Navni Chawla, it talks about uncomfortable and often volatile emotions that threaten to overpower us and submerge us in sorrow and negativity. And no matter how cool and composed we appear on the outside, we all have our inner demons which can get triggered by any real or perceived hurt, making us spin out of control. While most of us regret our outbursts later on and promise never to succumb to them, it’s only a matter of time before they erupt again, leaving us wondering what came over us.
The article takes an in-depth look at the deeper causes of such mood swings and the measures one can take to handle these tumultuous feelings. However, getting a grip on them requires patience, acceptance, faith, and a lot of self-love. So, remember that it is a journey, and do not despair if results don’t show up as quickly as you would want them to.
Another article, The Art of Simply Being, by Charles Shahar, takes you to the blissful world of awareness, which eventually boils down to being aware of your own existence and the breath which is your link with the metaphysical world.
The article Happy Job-Hunting! is particularly useful for the younger generation, helping them find their calling based on discovering who they intrinsically are. Furthermore, the yoga column has a video too embedded in the e-magazine, making it easier for you to follow Kamala Venkat’s instructions. Just click it open and enjoy the visuals. Happy Holi!
