Readers share the fun side of themselves and how they enjoy life
I start the day with a message: Forget the past now and start from anew. I am thankful for the God-given new day and for everything that comes with it. Further, I try to keep in mind that everything, good and not good, will pass by. So I feel light and have fun in all what I do in my life. Of course I try to do my best in whatever I can. It works, just try!

For me, the definition of fun has changed with time and space but the spirit is the same. As a seeker when I am learning to live in the present, to see, to listen and to be aware, the very act of living has become a synonym of fun. Be it a mundane job of cooking or something exciting like a music concert or just sitting by myself quietly watching a dry leaf floating down in slow motion, everything around me fills my heart with love, wonder, peace, happiness and gratitude toward the cosmos. So for me the spirit of fun does not need aids and props; its great fun simply to be alive.

I am now around 56 and my husband turned 60; the song, Jab tum hoge sadth sal ke aur mai chapan ki toh yonhi preet nibhayoge is still in our life. The secret of why I have fun is for two reasons: one is my husband is still jovial and I love to be with my young children.

'All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy' is an old saying. Life is not worth living if we remain busy in work. Fun should be a part of life. I keep alive the spirit of love by remembering all the sweet memories of my life in my leisure time. My children are a precious part of my life. I always spend my free time with them. I play with them, listen to them and cook some new dishes together. Moreover, I always live in the present; even in tough times. Life Positive magazine has had a great role in showing this path.

I believe that life is a celebration, so I celebrate my mistakes and laugh at them. I enjoy watching comedy serials and programmes on TV. I also read jokes and funny stories in newspapers and magazines. In fact, I have a collection of all of these, so I read it whenever I get a chance. Laughter is the best medicine which I take everyday to keep all ailments away. Whenever I am out of home, I look around for something funny and I always notice amusing sights like a dog being scared of a cat, or a shopkeeper habitually winking while talking. I even repeat these tiny stories to my friends, family, and relatives and relive the humour again.
