Miracles of Meher Baba
Meher Baba, my guide, The voice that fills my existence with his breath every day! When I begin to talk about the miracles Meher Baba’s light has been casting in my life, I don’t know where to stop, but it is easier for me to start sharing from the time I began realising his presence in my life.
Until 2007, I had been receiving Divine guidance from my guides—Shirdi Sai Baba, Mahavatar Babaji, Lord Shiva, a few other masters, angels, the archangels, and the divinities. Sai Baba, Goddess Quan Yin, Archangel Michael, or the other higher beings would visit and allow me to see and sense their energy and help me receive their messages for myself, my family, friends, and clients. There were times when Sai Baba, without my even invoking him (as I would do for my clients and the others), would ask me to telephone some friends to convey his messages and guidance. I would truly find them in the condition Sai Baba had shown to me, and Baba’s guidance would be the answer to their prayer. It would heal their lives’ situations. However, I knew no one named Meher Baba nor had I seen his photograph or even heard his name before.
Meher Baba comes into my life
It was early 2007 while invoking the guides during a client’s therapy session, when a “Being” visited, gave beautiful messages that resonated so well with the life of the client and, on being asked for the name, spoke, “Meher.” The messages were subtle yet profound; depth locked in every single word but all simplified. This pattern repeated in exactly the same manner, twice more, the same week. The name is given, when asked each time, was Meher. My heart would fill with so much beauty and love. The therapy room smelt of roses and incense.
It was the following week when a young man visited our therapy centre. While he sat in front of me and helped himself get settled, I saw a being appear diagonally opposite me. By now, I was accustomed and familiar with the energy and instantly recognised the being in white. I silently conversed and conveyed his Divine Message to my new client, who had just sat in front of me.
Message from Baba
The message was to let go of the marriage he was in, not feel any guilt, and release all the pain for that is how it was meant to be. It would be for his highest good and also that of his wife and everyone involved. He was asked to welcome another young girl, who had already entered his life, for it was now time for them to get together and start their lives afresh. He had a karmic purpose to fulfil with her.
Now, this client was shocked. He wondered how I got to know anything about his life since he hadn’t spoken to me at all after he had called to fix the appointment. That was when I revealed about ‘the white being’ with the name Meher, who stood on his left, looking at me, and passed the message for him. The young man’s eyes went moist and his face softened. There was silence and a long pause while we looked at each other. He asked me, “Are you Baba’s devotee?” to which I replied, “Baba... who?” “Meher Baba, ma’am! He is a master, an avatar.”
I narrated the incidents of the week to him and he had another question now for me. “Didn’t you go online to read about him, ma’am?” “I didn’t know that I would find his information online,” I replied.
Blessings from Baba
This man then pulled a faded, old, laminated photo with curled edges out of his pocket and handed it over to me holding it with both his hands, eyes shining and a beautiful smile on his face.
“Ma’am, I want you to have this photograph. This picture was slid under my pillow by my mother when I was born. It goes under my pillow to this day, every night, and into my pocket every morning before I step out of my house. I now want you to keep it as Baba’s blessings.”
I was very uncomfortable to keep the precious photograph given to him by his mother, which he held right next to his heart every day. I couldn’t have brought myself to accept it. On explaining this to him, he said, “Please keep it with you till I bring you the one which will be specially meant for you.” I couldn’t have declined any further. The words the photograph carried, made me note them in my book.
He then bent down to pull his bag up, pulled out two items and handed them to me, this time with another story. “I returned from Meher Baba’s tomb just last night. I had brought 15 sets of these rainbow ribbons, which I placed over Baba’s tomb for his blessings, meditated there to pray for everyone they go to, and also got these 15 copies of his biography to pass them on to my teammates at work. Since one girl was absent from work today, this is still lying with me. I think this set was meant to reach you, ma’am. This is blessed by Baba for you.”
I tied the beautiful ribbon to my prayer bell and couldn’t help but smile with joy. I knew Meher Baba had really walked into my life to guide me.
After his therapy session was over, he left, saying, “I will take you to Baba’s tomb someday.”
Visit Baba’s tomb
On November 2, 2007, this boy drove my colleague, Dr Ganguli, and me to Meher Baba’s tomb at Meherabad. Meditating by Baba’s grave was an experience I cherish in my heart. Its scent continues to infuse fragrance into my life. His words play an orchestra every ounce of my being sings to.
The next day, we visited the Mandali (circle of closest disciples). One of them looked at me, held both my hands, and said, “Why do I feel I have known you for a very long time? It’s not your face but your spirit that I know.” Another one pulled a very old book from a rickety bookshelf, dusted the edges of the book with its pale papers gone brittle, and pulling a paper out of it, gifted me with a beautiful photograph of Baba and Mehera.
Bringing herself close to my ears, she whispered, “This is the last one left lying with me. It was kept here by Baba. You are going to find your twin soul. Keep this photograph always with you. You will have miracles taking place in your life.”
I will forever remember her shining eyes, soft locks falling over her glowing forehead, and a smile that penetrated my heart centre! She was a beauty to look at. It was another blessed day and that moment is frozen in time!
Baba forever
Years passed and I scanned the photo to send it to a friend. GOD! All the rainbow colours appeared over the photograph.
I express immense gratitude to Meher Baba for walking into my life and choosing me to be his humble channel. May Baba continue to teach me and transform my life with his love and light. May he continue to help me fulfil my soul purpose and serve with purity, truth, and clarity.
