Meet Don Paris, one of the world’s foremost authorities on Radionics, a form of healing that has amazing possibilities not just for man, but for our much-abused planet, says Suma Varughese
hen a dear friend of mine, Dr Ravindra Kapadia, invited me for a talk in distant South Mumbai, I looked for excuses not to go. Circumstances conspired that I did go, however, and I ended up having one of the most stimulating evenings in recent memory. The speaker was an American called Don Paris, the inventor of the SE-5 1000, a Radionics machine. No one seemed to know quite what that was, but once Don Paris began to speak, I got more and more excited. The machine and its technology, apparently, held out fascinating possibilities. He showed us how the machine could, through the use of a lock of hair or a photograph, give the most detailed breakdown of a person’s physical, emotional, mental and even spiritual profile. A man volunteered as a demo and it was discovered without disclosure by him that he had prostrate problems. Even better, the machine could apparently rebalance the frequencies to effect healing in less than 15 minutes. But it was when Don Paris showed its efficacy as a non-violent method of pest-control or to help farm crops grow without chemical fertilizers that the real potential of the thing hit me.
With all the damage we have done the environment, can methods like Radionics help effect large-scale healing? Is this the way the New Age is going to happen? I have no real answers but I am more hopeful now than I have been so far that the environment can indeed be salvaged, and maybe quickly at that. Here are excerpts from an interview I subsequently conducted with Don Paris, who has the good luck of living in island homes in Bali, Hawaii and Pacific Northwest, with his writer-teacher wife, Ilona Selke.
What exactly is Radionics?
That is a difficult question to answer because over the last 100 years, this technology has changed so much and people have been calling almost anything Radionics. The true path of Radionics started with Dr. Albert Abrams who discovered this phenomena. This was in the early 1900s when not too much was known about electricity and electronics. He stumbled on a way to diagnose and treat his patients that he thought was using radio waves and electricity. That is where the name came from, i.e. Radio -nics. But as more researchers began studying this strange mode of distance diagnosis and healing, they found that it did not behave according to the realm of electricity and radio waves. One of the later researchers, Galen Hieronymus called this energy, eloptic energy, a new type of energy which has some attributes of light and some attributes of electricity.
But it goes even further than that as distance does not seem to matter in any way for doing the analysis or balancing. In the 1970s, Galen took a photograph of one of the astronauts and checked his vital signs every hour as he traveled from here to the moon. He compiled a 500-page report and sent it to NASA and it exactly matched the readings they were taking physically on the space craft! Because of this strange nature, some people have declared this to be a type of psychic energy. In some ways it is true that people with psychic powers can replicate some of the effects of Radionics without the use of an instrument. But these are very gifted people and are not easily found.
How does it work?
The best explanation to date is that it is working with a part of the electromagnetic spectrum that was taken out of the mathematical equations of Scottish mathematician, James Clerk Maxwell, after he passed away. This is known as Scalar waves or sometimes known as Tesla waves because Nicola Tesla (a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, physicist, and futurist), used this aspect of electromagnetism quite extensively. Scalar waves are produced by collapsing the electro and magnetic part of the wave and using what is left over. We can actually produce scalar waves with our own brain if we can turn on both sides of the brain equally. This is sometimes known as the AHA state or getting into the Zone for performers and athletes. When this happens, they can do things that are outside of their normal skill level. We can utilize this strange phenomena to get information from afar and send the corrective information back to the client, through the use of an electronics device. So once we have a hair sample or a photograph of a person/animal/plant, we can do a complete analysis and the subject does not have to be present. Once we have found the data fields (we call them Intrinsic Data Fields or IDFs for short) that are not in balance, we send back corrective frequencies to balance these imbalances. It is a little bit like using a remote control device to tune a piano. We find out which strings (cells, organs etc.) are out of tune and then re-tune them. Once they are resonating at the proper frequencies, the life force can flow again and the body will heal itself. The SE-5 1000 does not do the healing, the body (or plant) has an inbuilt mechanism for healing. We just need to create the proper environment for the healing to take place.
Can it heal all ailments? Most therapists know that some are not karmically entitled to heal from their illnesses at that point of time. How does Radionics transcend that?
I have not found anything that can heal everything for everyone all of the time. Since we are dealing with a very complex life form in the case of humans, their specific needs may or may not be addressed via Radionics. So we check those things first to see if it will be of help to them or not. For example, if a person has chosen an illness and it is part of their seed karma, we cannot work on that person. They need to go through the lessons without this type of work. It is one of the first things we look at before doing any serious work. But in general, most ailments respond very well to Radionic work.
Can you give me some instances of healing?
I had migraine headaches for more than 20 years. I got them once a week for one to three days. It was difficult to really do much of anything because I was just barely recovering from one before the next one would begin. Both my parents, my sisters, my grandparents and great grandparents all had migraines. I assumed they would be there all my life. I learned to work around them and plan my life around them. A naturopathic doctor used the SE-5 on me and after about four to five hours of work he began balancing me. That was the end of the migraine headaches.
That is a personal story, but I could give you hundreds of them from other people. For example, a doctor came to visit me and see the SE-5 when I was in Bangalore last year at the Spiritual Scientists Congress in Pyramid Valley. He had heard about the SE-5 and wanted a demonstration. I do not normally work on clients, but since he was a doctor I told him I could give him a short demo. He did not tell me about any ailments. In less than 10 minutes I told him where his problem was. He had been having pains in his lower abdomen for four years and had been to many specialists but no one could find the problem. I balanced it and within about 15 to 20 minutes his pain disappeared. He came back the next day to tell me the pain was still gone. He called a week later and said it was still gone. To my knowledge it has not come back. Naturally, he wants to learn how to use the SE-5 in his practice to help his patients. Personal experience is always the best teacher.
You mentioned that while the healing methodology is almost instant, one may need to have repeated sessions in order to arrive at a permanent cure. Could you elaborate?
Since we are working from a higher dimensional level there is a bit of a struggle between the un-manifested worlds and the manifest worlds. The atoms and molecules are spinning in pathways and bound together by both weak and strong nuclear forces. When we introduce new information from a higher level, the physical form will attempt to keep the old pattern intact, a bit like a habit that you want to change. So with repeated balancing, the new information eventually takes hold and the spin and patterns of the physical level changes to the new pattern.
One of the most exciting aspects of Radionics appears to be its capacity to control pests non-violently. However, I read in your article that you send the frequency of the pest poison to the plant. But surely in that case it is poison that is being sent?
That is only one way of controlling pests. The vibrations of the poison are like a radio station that is playing very loud, very unpleasant music. So the bugs will normally leave the area when those vibrations arrive. A better way to control pests is to understand their purpose. In a field of food, when a plant is weak, it sends out a signal that the pest can receive. The pests come and eat that plant because it is in a weakened state and not really fit for reproducing (in the bigger view of life). So the pest is helping the species to survive by eating away the weaker elements.
With modern farming practices, most plants are weak. So the pests seem to attack most of the plants. Therefore, the need to kill them with poison sprays. But that allows weak food to arrive on our table in a weakened state. It is better to allow the bugs to help us have only the strong plants on our plates.
So with Radionics, the newer method is to create strong seed by programming the seeds with Radionics. Then we analyse and balance the soil so that the plants get the proper balance of nutrition they need to become strong. Then we balance the plants as they mature and support their growth. In that method, pests are not much of an issue and, of course, become our friends to weed out the weak plants.
What about the use of Radionics to preserve food?
We are working on methods of preserving fresh foods without the use of preservatives. So far, the tests are very promising. Preserving food has mostly to do with keeping the life force intact. Radionics specializes in this because it works with the signals that allow the life force to work its miracles.
What kind of a world will we see when sciences like Radionics becomes common?
I am not sure that radionics will become common. There are many industries that depend on the use of chemicals in agriculture and medicine. They have been very effective at keeping Radionic unknown and mostly underground for the last 100 years. I do not see that changing any time soon. From my perspective it is really for people that want a change in their personal life. I do not see big business embracing these concepts. Of course, I would love to be proved wrong in this regard.
We seem to be entering a phase where more and more cures are being discovered and which seem to be doing the work quicker and faster. Do you agree?
On the periphery, yes. In the mainstream I only see hundreds of millions of dollars spent on creating drugs that keep people dependent on them and GMO foods that make people need more medical treatment. The amount of money spent on research in the area of Radionics has been less in the last 100 years than in the last one or two minutes spent on pharmaceuticals and pesticides and GMO research.
What are the things you most love about your life right now?
I love my wife Ilona Selke and our relationship to God. That has always been primary. It makes life an endless stream of new creation. Loving love itself is a primary purpose of creation. Life itself is such a miracle to behold and every moment of awareness is a gift.
Living in a state of gratitude for each moment fills me with the joy of being. I love sharing knowledge with others and inviting them into a new universe. Music has always been a passion for me so I still love creating and playing music when I have some moments.
