Letter of the month- Heartfelt gratitude I cannot describe how I felt while reading the masterpiece, Watch your words by Suma Varughese in the February 2016 issue of Life Positive. She has written so lucidly, so captivatingly and in such a simple and appealing manner that the reader gets instantly connected to the vibrational frequency emanating from the article. I re-read the article leisurely and took bullet points for memory. Gems like, “Your whole life is on your tongue”; “Who I am is love, joy, peace” “Words make our world”, are capable of helping one make paradigm shift in his communication pattern. – B N Kumar, via email

Suma Varughese’s article, My Abundance Journey in the March 2016 issue of Life Positive made interesting and enlightening reading. In the present world, financial security especially in the retired phase of life is becoming a challenge to most senior citizens. With the increased cost of living, it has become difficult to balance the budget and still remain afloat. We should remain independent till the end and not be financially dependent on the children for our day-to-day needs. In this scenario, I remember the experience of my late mother-in-law, who, although an uneducated lady with limited means, made sure that she never took a single penny from her kids, lived happily within her means, and left the world a very happy soul with her head held high. This is the way one would like to lead a post- retirement life. K V Surya Mohan via website Visualise to succeed Kudos for the well-researched and thought-provoking lead story, Conquer Life by Jamuna Rangachari in the March 2016 issue of Life Positive. It clearly shows that success has nothing to do with being born with a silver spoon in your mouth. I observed that what every successful person has in common is his ability to dream, and fantasize about a life beyond what he has right now. Sometimes, we fear taking the necessary steps for realising our goal, or not knowing what to do first when all seems daunting at the onset. Though we want to achieve many things in life but by giving into this particular fear, we lose faith in ourselves. Visualisation has proved to be one of the most effective ways to bring goals to fruition.

Key learnings The article, Farming not fishing, by Bhaavin Shah in the January 2016 issue of Life Positive had some key learnings. I feel that 21st century marketing is achievable only on the principle of delivering more than promised. Shyam Balani via website Corrigendum In the article A yoga holiday in the March 2016 issue of Life Positive Sri Radhanath Swami has been erroneously mentioned as Yaduanath Swamy. The error is regretted. -Ed
