Love and peace
I extend my gratitude to Shivi Verma for her article Brokering peace within, published in the October 2017 issue of Life Positive. It was a delight to read her experience and her understanding of deep, unconditional love. Many of us talk about love but keep it confined to the definition crafted by us humans. I feel that the way God loves us and guides us unconditionally is beyond human comprehension.
I also thank her for sharing her guru’s words: “Peace within me is peace within you,” in her column. Instead of blaming people around me for causing chaos in my space, I should first focus on cultivating peace within myself. It will then automatically flow towards people around me, into nature, and gradually, the whole. The first step, however, shall be mine. Thanks for publishing such an insightful piece.

One of the best editions
I found the November 2017 issue of Life Positive to be extremely engaging in all aspects. It featured informative articles on topical subjects. I particularly liked Press the right points by Muskaan Sharma. Every time my sinusitis aggravates, I press acupressure points suggested by Ketan Shah in a Life Positive workshop I had attended a few years ago. This article reminded me of his expertise and acupressure’s great efficacy, which I vouch for, in relieving me of most of my health problems.
I also found the article, Defeating suicide by Punya Srivastava, quite illuminative of an individual’s role in ensuring the mental and emotional well-being of her family and friends. Partha Gupta’s advice of jogging every day to beat the blues and increase the intake of prana-laden oxygen, spoke to me fervently.
The article on BEMER technology by Chitwan Malik was also quite fascinating. I would say that this edition was the best among the last few issues of the magazine.

The power of love
Loving without conditions by Jamuna Rangachari, in the October 2017 issue of Life Positive, was an inspiring and edifying read. It brought peace and solace to my beleaguered soul, tormented by the cacophony of today’s money-driven world. A person whose heart is contaminated with selfishness, envy, insecurity, greed, and an unbridled pursuit of materialism, is incapable of loving anybody unconditionally, as he is not at peace within. In contrast, a person who is joyous, contented and tranquil, exudes the fragrance of unconditional love, because his happiness is not contingent on the reciprocation of others.
The great philosopher, J. Krishnamurti, aptly remarked, “When we are not in conflict within ourselves, we are not in conflict outwardly.” We can learn a lot about unconditional love from nature, as she gives her bounties to us without expecting anything in return. Unconditional love is like a flower whose fragrance wafts through the air into our hearts, so that we may become kind, compassionate, and humane, and make this world a beautiful place to live in.

I heartily congratulate the whole team of Life Positive for their wonderful work. Your articles on diverse topics, presented in a captivating manner, keep the reader spellbound. I am always eager to finish reading the whole magazine at one go. I particularly like reading Suma Varughese’s articles and columns.
I enjoyed reading Jamuna Rangachari’s Loving without conditions and Run your own race in the October 2017 issue of LP. The thought-provoking articles are so relevant in today’s world for healing inner conflicts and bringing peace to self and the society.
Shivi Verma’s column, Brokering peace within, was wonderful as I could identify with the thoughts and feelings expressed in it. The article, A meeting of minds, beautifully highlighted the power of surrendering to the Divine. Leave it to God; He will do the best for the faithful seeker. Congratulations and hats off to all the contributors of Life Positive for making this world a better place.

Excellent writing
The cover story by Purnima Coontoor, In the world of wonder, published in the September 2017 issue of Life Positive, was one of the masterpieces which filled me with great inspiration. I appreciate various facets of this polished gem—its structure, its language, and the way its narrative segues from outer to inner world. This article reminded me of my own experiences at Amarnath and Kailash Manasarovar. It resonated with my own interest and appreciation of God’s beauty in nature. I extend my deep appreciation to team LP for the good work. May you all reach greater heights while improving the quality of life on earth.
