Letter of the month
Eye-catching avatar
Congratulations team Life Positive for the new ‘avatar’ with an eye catching and engaging layout! The February 2018 issue looked friendly and full of verve, vibrantly signalling that spirituality is truly about living life in its full spectrum. A creatively vivid way to reinforce to the seeker that our outer world is indeed a reflection of our inner growth. I discover new layers of myself each time I flip its pages. The columns by Suma, Shivi, and Megha are short, sharp snapshots of truth. Grateful to team LP for beautifying our lives ‘inside-out’ each month with rich insights from masters, every-day heroes and fellow seekers alike. Nandini Shah, via email
Best edition
My heartiest gratitude to Shivi Verma for her column The mirror within, published in the December 2017 issue of Life Positive. She truly points out that “Not feeling good enough is one of the worst feelings that we can ever encounter.” We are very vulnerable to this kind of slip. Introspection and a positive self-esteem aid in our spiritual evolution. Suma Varughese’s column Earn your merits was enlightening. As we traverse the materialistic, competition-ridden world vying for perfection, we become too demanding. Jamuna Rangachari’s article Are you lonely? made for a convincing and soothing read. Pulkit Sharma’s article How to meditate provided a logical guide for effective meditation. The December 2017 issue was the best trendsetter heralding the forthcoming editions, so far. Joyous new year
It was a joy to begin my new year by reading Shivi Verma’s editspeak column in the January 2018 issue of Life Positive magazine. Vidya Murlidhar’s heartwarming article The search within my soul touched me deeply with its insisghts. I too believe that women have to struggle with explaining their life choices to themselves as well as others. Ketaki Jayakar’s artice When the Goddes beckons tempted me to book my tickets to Kolkata. Jamuna Rangachari’s cover story Evolving through illness had thought-provoking insights. Mahalakshmi Rajagopal’s article Safeguard your child is a must-read for all those who want to co-create a safe environment for children. I also enjoyed Satish Purohit’s Lights! Camera! Enlightenment!, Roshani Nadirshah’s The year of the master number, and Neena Nambiar’s A spiritual adventure. Swapna Sanand, via email
