LB: Hey JK! What’s up?
JK: When you physically look at the direction up, it is only looking where the word ‘up’ points you to. What it actually makes you do, that word, is merely a response based on the memory of that word as it was taught to you, and you were taught to conform to…
LB: err…okay, ok….anyways, so I wanted to ask you about some stuff, okay. Like what’s your opinion on…
JK: When you ask me for an opinion, in your own head you are placing me as someone up there, someone whose opinion is of value, and if you do see that value, you will make that opinion yours. What you fail to see is that you are merely a collection of a bundle of opinions that you have gathered from the people around you…
LB: Oops! This is getting complicated…I should have expected that…but it’s great meeting you in person I must say. I have heard so much about you! Of course, some people…err…find you difficult to understand….in fact they think you just ramble some random words in a complex sequence…..
JK: My rambling words are not any different from a factory producing crutches for lame people. It may be highly productive in making lame people walk, but it does not liberate them – it merely helps them cope. My words are merely pointers and your words are pointers to my words which means we have pointers to pointers and more of those till we are all only caught in pointers…
LB: Great, nice meeting you, actually I think I should leave now…
JK: You may leave now – but what is essential to enquire is what do you mean by now? Isn’t that merely a realisation of how time bound you are, which actually, conceptually, your free mind does not need to adhere to? Do you see the sheer futility of saying that and actually believing you will be able to do anything now for everything that happens in the now….
LB: Well…okay I am going…
JK: You may go if you please and you may stay – whatever you do, do not do it just because I or any other guru or religion has told you to do it. Do it out of your own fearless examination of your instinct…and going will only lead you to falsehood…to the unreal.
LB: And why is that?
JK: Because truth is a pathless land…
