Continued from last month… So how does a Spiritual Life Coach help you? As discussed in the previous issue, you help yourself with the guidance of the coach, to prepare a road map for yourself and decide the necessary actions you are required to take. Make a note of this now. After a point of time, the coach lets you chart your own course. Dependency decreases and an equal relationship is formed along the way. Yes, it takes time…maybe years. A SLC is unlike your typical guru who makes you dependant on him for all your day to day life decisions. This has been my personal experience after a long journey from the age of 15 when I lost my father. I had looked outside for a role model in those formative years. I discovered a variety of human beings along the way and learnt from each one of them only to realise that I was the creator of my own destiny. This is not to demean or lessen anyone’s contribution in my spiritual growth but only to state that it is the will of the Universe,that in the long run, you become your own guru. Allow others to fulfil their purpose in your life and then both of you must move on. Learn to live with the I, Me, Myself principle. As they say in Marathi, ‘me maazha.’ Yes, it’s you for yourself ! In the end you walk alone but during the journey you need all of them. Just as you need your parents in the beginning, to make sense of where your soul has landed to learn and unlearn life’s lessons. So, as a SLC, I can gently lead you during your travel time on earth for a few miles and stations, and then finally let you go to experience life fully and completely in all its majestic wonder. I help you to start with the basic premise that you need to allow the divine to function through you. I teach you how to make yourself a channel and a medium for the Consciousness to reveal its beautiful creations through you. And then once you get it, you are on the path of least resistance and more abundance. Some of you may leave early, some may take time. Some may try to cling to you for dear life. Some you may get attached to. But you can always shift the awareness and ask and receive crystal clear solutions and then work on them. I took 26 years to stand on my own and now every day is an exciting adventure of my own making with all the love and help from the ‘WISDOM.’ I get up looking forward to what this beautiful day has in store for me and allow the divine to intervene and guide me. And here I am with tears of joy in my eyes as I share all this with you, confident that even if one of you feels better and charged on reading this, my purpose is fulfilled. Finally, I would urge and persuade you to read books by loving souls like Louise Hay, Dr Wayne Dyer, Doreen Virtue, Neale Donald Walsh, Abraham – Esther & Jerry Hicks, Jack Canfield and many more which call to you, once you get into this zone called Spirituality – not to be confused with Religion. Go online, take lessons, attend workshops every month if you can and make new like- minded friends. This is better than idle gossip with the same old friends and relationships which have the same discussions every year. The journey will be rewarded with so much that you cannot even imagine.
