Having various thoughts in the past and the present I have come to a conclusion that what we think and what our realities are totally disparate most of the times.
I have severe anxiety attacks, fear of being left alone while my reality is that I have a stable and healthy relationship with my husband and family, a comfortable home and work life balance. Yet I feel low and when we read or hear what we think we become it adds more stress to the situation.
To combat this I did self analysis and consciously let my actual reality overcome my thoughts. This way I was able to control my negative thoughts and channelise them by acknowledging my actual reality. It has helped me remain calm when I get repetitive negative thoughts which enable me to come out of my emotions quickly.
