Description

It is a three-day psychotherapeutic curriculum to unravel the genesis of our identity. Simply put we piece together how we turned out the way we are today.

Looking at developmental stages from age 0-26 years, we face how the child within us was wounded. A combination of a guided visualization, sharing our history, role-playing and handwriting exercises shows us the emotional damage done by the unique environments we grew up in. There is an opportunity to understand and experience the original pain of unmet childhood needs to bring about resolution of adult life issues.

Fees: Rs 28,500/- (Inclusive of 4 nights stay on twin share basis plus all meals)

About the organizers/facilitators

Meena Iyer was born in New Delhi. As an Army Officer’s daughter, she schooled in convents in Delhi, Mussorie, Udhampur, and Jabalpur.

Education and working experience:

After a degree in English Literature, she took masters in Mass Communication and Journalism. Meena dabbled at flying as cabin crew for Indian Airlines for a short while before finding a passion for sales and marketing for The Times of India, New Delhi. While working for TOI, she took a part-time diploma in Marketing and Advertising from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, New Delhi. After a five-year stint selling space for dailies and magazines as well as special features, she decided to take a break opting to be a full-time mom. Coming back after a 5-year sabbatical saw her as Centre Head at National Institute of Sales’ franchise. Then back to advertising sales for a glorious 12 years with brands like Cartoon Network, CNN, HBO, TCM, POGO and Warner Bros, Meena was Associate Sales Director at Turner International head of North and South regions for WB channel. A voracious reader with strong spiritual moorings Meena completed the entire Curriculum for living with Landmark Education including the Introduction Leaders Program.

Life-changing moments:

She chose to go into training herself and partnered with Live life Education to design and execute transformational training programs in colleges, the first being a batch of 1000 students of SRM Engineering College, Modinagar. Currently, she is CEO and founder of Lifeskills Consulting and conducts programs in Breakthroughs for Self Development for students as well as employed professionals. Meena is also a Reiki master and certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. She conducts Reiki workshops and healing modalities for clients. Meena holds a Visharad degree in Hindustani Classical Music from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. Her hobbies include reading and fitness other than cooking for her family and friends. Meena is blessed with two sons ages 20 and 16.

It wasn%u2019t easy and Meena did not do my work for me. What Meena did was give me the tools, show me new ways of understanding myself and guided me with concepts to go deep within myself to discover my pain, anger and rage. I discovered my inner child and I started to take responsibility for the state my life was in. My healing began. Today my life is much more manageable, but I know there is still more healing to be done. However, thanks to Meena, I am coming from a place of knowing who I truly am and that is such a gift. For 43 years, I really didn%u2019t know. This work has helped me to develop my spirituality and open up an even greater connection with my Higher Self.
