In addition to exercises, physical therapists rely on other therapeutic techniques like ice and health application, which is useful for cooling off and warming up muscles. It improves blood flow and reduces swelling, thereby improving the range of motions. They also use electrical stimulation therapy by passing an electric current through the affected area that reduces pain.
