It is a matter of pride not only for Karnal but for the entire nation that renowned researcher, innovator, and author Dr. Riitesh Sinha, who himself is affected by cerebral palsy, has been included in the ACE Book of Records 2025 for his exceptional contributions to health innovation and inclusive development.
For more than 36 years, Dr. Sinha has been continuously engaged in research, experimentation, and service, working tirelessly to make the lives of persons with disabilities simpler, more empowered, and dignified. The “Riitesh Mudraa,” a unique hand mudra technique developed by him, is being recognized as beneficial for conditions related to the brain and nervous system. In addition, his “Riitesh Method of Holding a Pencil” has proven effective in improving neuro-motor control and writing abilities.
Dr. Sinha’s contributions extend far beyond the fields of medicine and research. He has designed disability-friendly adaptive clothing and developed a foot-operated tricycle called “Re-Trike,” which promotes independent mobility and self-reliance among persons with disabilities.
As a sensitive and impactful writer, his books “Understanding Cerebral Palsy” and “Wings of the Heart” offer new perspectives and guidance to persons with disabilities, their caregivers, and society at large.
