In a historic moment of pride for Karnal and the entire disability inclusion movement in India, Dr. Riitesh Sinha, a remarkable individual with cerebral palsy, has been officially recognized by the Ace Book of Records 2025 for his extraordinary contributions to health innovation, neuro-accessibility, and inclusive development.
Dr. Sinha, who has devoted over 36 years to research and advocacy, has been celebrated for creating Riitesh Mudraa—a transformative hand gesture technique designed to support individuals with brain-related conditions. Additionally, his Riitesh’s Method of Holding Pencil has gained recognition for helping improve fine motor skills and neurological coordination, especially in children and adults with special needs.
His innovation extends far beyond therapeutic techniques. Dr. Sinha has also designed accessible clothing that caters to the specific needs of persons with disabilities and developed the Riitrike, a foot-operated tricycle that empowers individuals with mobility challenges to move independently.
An author, healer, and visionary, Dr. Sinha’s written works, including Understanding Cerebral Palsy and Wings of the Heart, have inspired caregivers, therapists, and persons with disabilities alike.
The Ace Book of Records honors this multifaceted contribution with pride, inscribing his name in the 2025 edition for redefining the landscape of inclusive health and education in India.
“This recognition is not just mine—it belongs to every person with a disability who dares to dream,” said Dr. Sinha on receiving the honour.
