Stress has become a common term in today’s time. Stress affects all of us. No matter what our age, gender, community, or status maybe. Hence, it is imperative to understand how to live a stress free life. However, stress is not an absolute term. It is highly relative. What may be perceived as stress to one, maybe completely normal to another. Stress is not real. It is fictional. What we create in our minds, is what we manifest into our reality. Hence if we create stress, it will become a part of our reality.

Listed below are a few simple yet extremely useful tips on how to live a stress free life:

Positivity

The state of our mind plays a very important role in our interaction with people, how we manage our day to day tasks, and how we perceive life in general. A negative state of mind can easily and automatically give rise to unnecessary stress. The same thing when viewed and dealt with in a positive and balanced state of mind can yield favorable and productive results. Hence, managing the mind is extremely important in understanding how to live a stress free life. Peace is not experienced when everything is under control. It is the calm that is experienced amid chaos. Detoxify yourself and learn how to live a stress free life.

Gratitude

Every new day is a brand new gift that we receive from life. But we seldom acknowledge it. We take it for granted. The first thought that comes to your mind in the morning, is the thought that will rule your day and determine your mood and consequent actions for that day. Hence, ensure that the thought is a healthy and happy one. When you wake up with a grateful heart, it changes everything. Be grateful for everything in your life, no matter how small it may be. This attitude of gratitude will help you change your outlook towards life. It will help you see life with a much better view. This element in itself is sufficient to reduce stress from our life to a great extent.

Surrender

Do your best and surrender the rest. At times, life can be overwhelming and it gets difficult to stay positive and grateful. Some may even argue that all of these virtues are better said than done. However, it is the only practical solution to diminish stress from our life. We need to do out duty, no doubt. But we invite stress when we start thinking too much about the outcome of our duty. Smile

Smile no matter what. A smile relaxes the muscles on your facial region. This feeling of relaxation itself can be reinvigorating. We may not always know what to do in a given situation. Find peace in not knowing. The struggle to have all answers all at once gives rise to unnecessary stress. If you want to know how to live a stress free life, acknowledge that it won’t happen in a day. To erase all our preconceived notions and impression that we have formed over a period will take time and effort.
