Certified by ’The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre' (Kerala), which is recognised and registered with the Yoga Alliance, Saahil is also trained in the Ashtanga Yoga tradition, Mysore. Also, he served as a Yoga teacher in ’The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre' (Kerala) for two years. Saahil was born in a Muslim family. However, he inherited his spiritual inclination from his mother who is a Sindhi. He grew up going to the Mosque to offer prayers in the morning and attending evening Artis at Iskon (Kolkata). Sadly, he lost my mother at the age of nine on his birthday. His father passed away when he was thirteen, which shattered him completely. While grieving, he remembered everything that his mother taught and began looking for peace. At the age of sixteen, when his friends preferred nightclubs and malls, he was at home chanting "Nam yo range Kyo", the Buddhist chant, practising Transcendental Meditation and doing Vipassana among other forms of Yoga. This is what saved him from deviating from the righteous path. And Yoga showed him the path and purpose for the years to come. Today, Saahil looks forward to helping every seeker find his purpose by guiding them using the knowledge of Yoga and meditation.
